🎨 Face Painted with Care

How I Keep Face Painting Safe, Clean, and Full of Joy in Edmonton

Hey Edmonton! I’m Samridhi, your go-to face painter for birthdays, festivals, school events, and everything in between. I believe face painting should be magical, memorable—and most importantly—safe for everyone.

That’s why I follow Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines to the letter, with a few extra sparkles of my own. ✨ Here’s how I make sure every painted smile is backed by solid hygiene and professional care:

🧼 Clean Hands, Happy Faces

Before I even dip a brush into paint, I make sure my hands are squeaky clean:

  • I wash thoroughly with soap and warm water before and after every session.

  • When water isn’t available, I use alcohol-based hand sanitizer and sanitizing wet wipes after each child—no shortcuts here!

  • I wear single-use gloves when needed, especially if there’s any risk of contact with sensitive areas.

🖌️ One Face, One Brush (Seriously!)

Cross-contamination? Not on my watch. I take tool hygiene seriously:

  • I use single-use applicators whenever possible.

  • Brushes and sponges are cleaned and disinfected between every child.

  • Clean brushes are soaked in a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution to ensure they’re fully sanitized before reuse.

  • Water containers are changed after each client—no double-dipping, ever.

  • Stencils are made from non-porous materials and disinfected after each use.

🎨 Only Skin-Safe, Kid-Safe Products

Your child’s skin deserves the best, so I only use:

  • Cosmetic-grade, Health Canada-approved face paints and glitters

  • No acrylics, craft paints, or anything that doesn’t belong on skin

  • I always check for skin irritation or open wounds before painting—if it’s not safe, I won’t paint

🧒 Kid-Friendly, Parent-Approved

I’ve worked with kids of all ages and temperaments, and I know how to keep things calm, fun, and safe:

  • I make sure little ones are comfortable and still before painting

  • My setup is clean, organized, and away from food or personal items

  • Parents are always welcome to ask questions about my products or process—transparency is part of the magic!

📋 Fully Compliant with Alberta Health Services

As a professional face painter, I:

  • Notify AHS when participating in public events or markets

  • Follow all AHS guidelines for temporary personal services, including sanitation, setup, and product safety

  • Stay up to date with any changes to health regulations—because your trust matters

Face painting should be a joyful experience, not a worry. I’m proud to bring color, creativity, and peace of mind to every event I attend. If you’re planning a party or community gathering and want a face painter who brings both fun and professionalism, I’d love to be part of your day!

Let’s keep Edmonton bright, bold, and beautifully safe. 💖
