Hello lovely souls,
I want your henna to bloom beautifully—not just right after application, but for days to come. Since my henna cones are 100% organic and made with pure ingredients, your aftercare routine plays a big role in the final stain. Here’s how to treat your henna like royalty once it’s on your skin.
🌿 The More You Keep, The Better It Gets
Henna is like a slow-brewing love story: the longer it stays, the deeper the color. After I apply your design:
-
Keep the paste on for at least 6–8 hours. For best results, I recommend leaving it on overnight if possible.
-
Let it dry naturally. Avoid using heaters or dryers—henna loves patience.
-
Wrap it up (optional but powerful!). Once the paste dries, you can gently wrap it using medical tape, tissue, or gloves to protect it while you sleep. This helps trap body heat and darken the stain.
💧 No Water, Please!
Water is henna’s biggest buzzkill in its early hours.
-
Avoid washing the area for as long as possible—ideally 12–24 hours.
-
No scrubbing, soaking, or swimming on Day 1.
-
When you do rinse off the dried paste, use dry scraping or a bit of oil to flake it off—not water!
🌞 Post-Paste Care
Once the paste is off:
-
Apply natural oils like coconut or mustard oil to protect the stain from moisture and wear.
-
Avoid lotions or soaps with chemicals that might interfere with the stain development.
-
Your stain will start out orange and deepen into a rich brown over 24–48 hours. That’s henna doing its thing!
With a little care and some patience, your henna will glow just as beautifully as the moment I drew it. Let the color tell your story—and feel free to reach out if you ever have questions! ✨
